Cultural Event

We are glad at the response we recieved from members to participate in the cultural event on 1st Sept 07. The event is taking place at the Learning Centre, at 7.00P.m on 1st of Sept 07. All are requested to be seated by 6.45 pm as the Chief Guest is expected to arrive by 7.00pm.
Please note that entrance is free.

We are glad to inform you that his excellency Mr.Fetus Mogae the President of Botswana has kindly agreed to grace the occasion ( cultural show to held on 1st Sept 07).

We are over helmed by the response we received from the members in registering their children for participating in the event. We are closing the registrations on Saturday 18th August 07.

Any one who is not able to register for any reason can ring 3181224- Shyam, before Saturday.

We hope our community will rise to the challenge and put up a good show on this occasion.

HANUJMAN JAYANTI -HANUMAN CHALISA-12th MAY 2007

On 12th May 2007 i.e. Saturday HANUMAT JAYANTI will be celebrated at Hanuman Temple in Hindu Hall from 2.15pm and devotees have come forward to chant Hanuman Chalisa (108Times) which goes upto 6.30pm followed by Harathi and Prasad.

All the devotees are requested to join the Hanuman Chalisa (108times) chanting and seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman.

Devotees are at liberty to offer Prasad of their convenience after Harathi.

As we all know, amongst her varied contributions and activities, perhaps the most outstanding is the introduction of The Art of Living programme into Botswana extending into other parts of Africa.It has been Hema’s wish to spread the benefits of the Art of Living programme to as many people as possible in the wider community of Botswana. To give permanence to her much loved activity, it has been decided a fund is to be established to acquire or develop a much needed and suitable Art of Living Centre in Botswana and to name it after her. For the accomplishment of this task, a steering committee has been formed with Messers.
