Appeal from Botswana Hindu Society

BOTSWANA HINDU SOCIETY (Registered under the Societies Act)P.O.BOX. # 1843,GABORONEAN APPEALDear AllI hope you are all aware that Mrs. Hema Rajaraman and her family are leaving Botswana for good during early April 2007. As we all know, amongst her varied contributions and activities, perhaps the most outstanding is the introduction of The Art of Living programme into Botswana extending into other parts of Africa. It has been Hema’s wish to spread the benefits of the Art of Living programme to as many people as possible in the wider community of Botswana. To give permanence to her much loved activity, it has been decided a fund is to be established to acquire or develop a much needed and suitable Art of Living Centre in Botswana and to name it after her. For the accomplishment of this task, a steering committee has been formed with Messers. Manhar B Mooney, O P Rawal, J D Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Komal Jain and Mrs. Shiela Rajaram as members of the steering committee. We believe that you will all agree this to be a most fitting way to pay tribute to her work.I, therefore, appeal to all the members of BHS, Community Associations and individuals to contribute generously to the fund for accomplishment of the task.Yours SincerelyJ D SHARMACHAIRMANThursday, 15 March 2007________________there is a cultural evening on the 1st April 2007 from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. to bid farewell to Mrs. Hema Rajaraman at Hindu Hall.
